made for weaving dreams
and catching sun rays
calloused by a childhood
she grew up too fast
but never lost that sense of wonder
as if it’s the first time
ever laying eyes on such objects
others find boring
or render useless.
she will pick it up
examine with eyes of a child
and mold it into its true potential.
how do they perceive this world?
attached to open arms, she said
and went back to putting the color back
into all she touched.
