spiritual beliefs.

i believe in messy mornings
when the alarm clock fails to go off
and the coffee is never strong enough
and my hair is disheveled from your hands.

i believe in afternoons,
the leisurely kind of day,
filling time by discovering and adventuring
and unplugging from the madness that is reality.

i believe in starry nights,
the kind that blankets you in contentment
and your soul is consumed with gratitude
and your feet never touch the ground.
